The Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship
The Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship is an eight-month personal transformational journey with the Plant Kingdom and Shamanic Practices. Plants and Trees have an intelligent consciousness and when we choose to connect with them in sacred reverence and reciprocity we can access profound wisdom, spiritual insight and embodied healing.
Plant communication is a deepening of relationship, through intentional interaction and guided experiences we can retune our senses and connect deeply to our plant allies. This interspecies communication supports us to flourish into our own ecological purpose and on our journey to indigenise and be a good relative to the living world. The plant kingdom is generous, supportive, nurturing and healing. The ability to communicate helps us to walk our life path with health, childlike joy and wonder.
Set over six three-day modules, on this Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship you will gain the experience needed to identify and attune your physical and intuitive senses to explore the realm of Plant Consciousness with experienced facilitators. Learning from the five-direction medicine wheel, you will be initiated into the many different ways of harnessing the power of plants medicinally and spiritually. You will receive tools, shamanic teachings, and energy practices that will open the door to deep conscious communication with the Plant Kingdom.
During the apprenticeship you will receive the Munay Ki Rites originating from the Q’ero shamans of the high Andes, Munay meaning love and Ki meaning energy. A series of nine powerful transmissions, these sacred initiations from the Inca tradition plant seeds of energy that recode your DNA and upgrade your etheric body into a luminous energy field. These rites are to heal and empower you and help you stand in right relationship with Grandmother Earth.
After this apprenticeship you will have the grounding and experience to confidently navigate and communicate with the Plant Kingdom. Having relearnt the ancient language between humankind and plantkind you will graduate from this apprenticeship as a Shamanic Plant Kingdom Communicator.

14th-16th March ☆ Sowing Seeds
You will be initiated into the Plant Spirit Kingdom with Mugwort and Birch to begin opening the doors of your shamanic, psychic, and energetic awareness.

25th-27th April ☆ Shimmering Leaves
Entering into the gate of the East, we will be working with Plant Allies of Rose and Dandelion teaching us heart and mind alignment bringing us clarity and empowerment.

13th-15th June ☆ Blooming Flowers
Directing our journey through the Gate of the South, bringing our Soul Path to the forefront, transforming challenges into wisdom with Tulsi and Yarrow.

25th-27th July ☆ Flowing Branches
Walking through the Gate of the West, Hawthorn and Willow will be connecting us with our Ancestors bringing our ancestral wisdom into our lives.

12th-14th September ☆ Deepening Roots
Standing in the Gate of the North, we will be connecting to the ancient wisdom that resides within us and within Grandmother Earth with the White Pine tree and Elder tree.

Blossoming into the Gate of the Centre, you will be connecting with a Personal Power Plant to guide you through the retreat and beyond the apprenticeship.

SUNEET KAUR
Shamanic Pracitioner & Medical Herbalist
Suneet has been on her spiritual path since the age of 21 and her shamanic path since 2012. She follows teachings from the Indigenous Wisdom of Peru, Ecuador, North America and Nepal, from her ancestral home India, her ancestral spirituality Sikhism, and the nature beings of her birth home England. Her passion for plant spirit connection was ignited by Mugwort, and her path has been strongly guided by the Theobroma Tree, Weeping Willow Tree, White Pine Tree, and Dandelion, although there are many other plants and trees that have shaped her journey. After a ceremony with Dandelion Suneet was guided to become a Medical Herbalist, which she did, graduating in 2023 with distinction. Suneet’s practice incorporates physical health as well as spiritual health, making space for the Plant Kingdom to work with us on every level.

KIM MCFADDEN
Spiritual Ecologist
Kim is a nature connection mentor who has been on her healing path since 2009, learning with Elders from many different traditions. She began her journey learning the way of the Quero from the Inca lineage, and continues to share the healing art of this lineage. Kim has had the opportunity to learn and experience different ways of healing with plants and master plants, from both the British Isles and other lands, through many different wisdom traditions. Since 2015 Kim has been teaching adults and children how to make herbal preparations, plant identification, animal signs and tracking, bird language, and native bushcraft skills. Kim also tends to an organic permaculture herbal garden and is part of the rewilding project at the Clophill Centre. Kim’s passion for the healing and earth practices she shares is ignited by our beautiful earth, all our living relations, and the next generations to come.

This course was literally life changing. Suneet held the space beautifully, I felt fully supported, throughout. The plants took me on a roller coaster of a journey, but I did ask for the full ride, so maybe be careful what you wish for. Suneet helped us all navigate the challenges and beauty that unfolded, the messages and areas requiring further exploration. Very difficult to put into words how transformative my journey has been with the plant kingdom, and this began with Suneet’s Shamanic Plant Spirit Apprenticeship. I’ve seen miracles happen in my life as a result of the work I’ve done with the plants, maybe not miracles that I explicitly asked for because what we want and need are sometimes two different things. Life changing and mind-opening. The Shamanic Plant Spirit Healing Apprenticeship has been like no other course I have undertaken. It is a beautifully complex undertaking of both professional learning and personal healing. Suneet guides it beautifully, making it feel natural and progressive to work through the different plant relationships and shamanic techniques. I have a background in healing through movement but this apprenticeship was a big step into the world of plant spirits and more esoteric shamanic healing techniques. I attended Suneet's first Shamanic Plant Spirit Healing Apprenticeship in 2019. I was so excited when I first signed up for the apprenticeship, and it exceeded my expectations in so many ways, both personally and professionally. I've been on a journey of deep personal healing and growth for over a decade, and yet I was impressed by how much deeper the healing is at the level we worked at on the apprenticeship. Each month, the plant spirit initiations brought me to deeper levels of personal healing than I had experienced ever before, as did my own shamanic journeying with the plant spirits that I did as “homework”. I'm so happy to have learned new ways of working with myself for deep healing. I feel like it's been a massive upgrade in terms of my own personal healing and development. I have worked with plant spirits on a personal level for years, but this apprenticeship took my connection and work with plant and tree spirits to a whole new level. I feel much more deeply connected to the Earth, to Nature, and to the plant spirits. I now have new skills that I'll be able to use to help friends, family, and clients. I'm not yet sure how I will be incorporating what I've learned into my professional offerings, but I'm excited to share this deeper level of healing with others.

The Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship is an eight month in person journey. There are six three day retreats. Each retreat runs on Friday 10am-4pm, Saturday 10.30am-7.30pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm.

The Shamanic Herbalism Apprenticeship will be held at The Clophill Centre, Shefford Road, Clophill, Bedfordshire, MK45 4BT. The Clophill Centre is set on ten acres of meadow and woodland, with an apothecary garden, earth chamber and two labyrinths.

There is a car park on site. The closest station is Clophill rail station.
There are local airbnbs and B&B's. The Clophill Eco lodges are walking distance from the The Clophill centre.

Please bring the food you require for each day. Saturdays we will provide a vegetarian / vegan meal in the evening. Herbal teas will be provided.

You may need a few items for the apprenticeship and we will be in touch a little closer to the time about this. It would be good to set aside around £100 for materials.

The deposit is non-refundable.
If you have paid the balance and cancel prior to the 1st February 2025 you will receive a full refund minus the deposit.
If you cancel between the 1st February 2025 and the 28th February 2025 then you will receive a 50% refund minus the deposit.
If you cancel after the 1st March 2025 then you will not receive a refund.
If we are able to fill your place on the apprenticeship then you will receive a full refund regardless of when you cancel.
